A week after the decapitated head of a woman was found on a footpath on the banks of Musi river in Malakpet, police on Wednesday cracked the murder mystery by arresting a stock investor from his Chaitanyapuri house. Reminiscent of the November 2022 grisly murder case of chef Aaftab Poonawala who chopped his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar's body into 35 pieces, 48-year-old B Chandra Mohan also disposed of the severed head of the woman near the Musi. He stocked her body parts in a refrigerator in her house after chopping her body into six pieces and regularly used room fresheners in the room to ensure that the stench from the fridge doesn't spread.
